With all the rain and high winds the trails need clearing. Contact your local club and find out what needs to be done and get out and help today! If everyone helps alittle today everything can be cleared up in no time. We need to work to keep our trails open and not sit back and think of reasons why the trails should be closed. If you think it is to cold or snowy to get out and clear the trails today so we can all ride then join a beach club or a lawn mower club. If you think "I paid my $30 let the club clear the trails" guess what....You are the club. The people out clearing the trails paid the same $30 you did and are a club members just like you. No one is getting paid to help. As with any non-profit volunteer organization there are as many opinions on how things should be done as there are members so, the point of all this is, if snowmobiling is something you like to do and your not helping somehow to keep the trails open everyday there is snow on the ground, then please sit down and shut up. Lets get the work done and RIDE!

I hope everyone is having a great week despite the weather. Hopefully everyone got out and rode monday and tuesday because the riding was great. The forecast is for snow next week so we should be riding again soon. Make sure you check your skegs and studs because it will be slippery with all the ice underneath. We have several different types of skegs in stock to fit many different riding styles so stop in and we can help make your sled handle better. Also make sure to keep alittle dry gas in your tank because with the up and down temps, condensation in your fuel tank can be a problem and make your sled run rough.

Guys, here are some new nubers that I have found to work well on a stock D8. Mind you if you use the "mid-range" numbers with your pipe programs it may help them also, may need a little tweaking. Im not saying this is the cure to all problems please give these numbers a try let me know what you see ill keep you posted with revised numbers.
Casey Try adding these number to your programs. 5000 X 0 0 5 5 5 5 5 5 0 5250 X 0 0 5 9 9 9 9 9 0 5500 X 0 0 5 9 9 9 9 9 0 5750 X 0 0 5 9 9 9 9 9 0 6000 X 0 0 5 5 7 7 7 5 0 6250 X 0 0 5 4 4 4 4 4 0 6500 X 0 0 4 4 3 3 3 3 0 6750 X 0 0 3 3 3 3 3 4 0 Saturday, December 20

Thank you to all members for the quick response. We are glad to have so many members this quickly. In response we have added a folder in the top left hand corner of the main page for you to upload a picture of your sled or favorite, wierd or funny snowmobiling incident. Go over to the "post new entry" link in the top right corner of the page. This will take you to the "Dashboard." From there you need to select the link which says photo. Then highlight the Photo Album that says "select this album to post your pic." Then browse your machine and select the photo(s) you want to upload and then hit add photo. You can only do one pic at a time but feel free to post what you like. The site is for our sport. All members have permission to view any of the categories and add comments to any of the posted articles. You can also put any questions you have under a comment link and we will get back to you on the blog so everyone can benefit. If you feel that you have an article or topic that you would like to see posted, please email it to Tom at tom@3seasrecreation.com. He will review it and post it on your behalf so long as it is moderately appropriate of course. So, please post your picture and tell your friends to go to the 3 Seas website and click on the link to the blog. From the main page they can select to set up an account and join us. Thanks for making this a success.

Jared and I cruised the local trails last night and the conditions are not very good. There are areas where it is marginal snow and it is very icy. There are also plenty of mudholes. There is not near enough snow to groom so it is very rough. I would advise to wait until we get more snow. Suppossedly trails are closed so you need to call your local club and congress person and complain. Stay safe and have fun.

We are optimistic about having a snowy winter this year. Since I have been a Polaris dealer for many years, our snowmobile business is a fun time for all of us cold weather folks. We are always looking for ways to maximize our snowmobile dollars and sharing ideas is a great way to accomplish that plan. Our Polaris certified mechanics deal with many technical questions every day. So, here we are, starting a new blog to compliment our 3 Seas Recreation website.
Please post any performance or technical questions here and we will be monitoring our blog daily in response. |
